If you're a gay reading this blog, you're in the majority, for once! According to a new study out of Harris Interactive, 54% of homo adults are regular blog readers, compared to 40% of heteros.

When broken down by blog subject, gays outnumbered straights in every category. Blogs with a specific gay outlook and voice, like good ole QueerSighted here, are read by 35% of the gay community.

The study also found 73% of surveyed gays were on Facebook and 29% were on Twitter, compared to 65% and 15% of straight people, respectively.

Is it more important to keep in touch in the gay community? Is it easier to meet other gay people people online? Whatever the reason, gays are apparently naturally more virtually connected to each other, and to the blogs they read.

So keep reading, k?
